Ha Ha Ha!!! I love this post, I can sooooo relate. Last December, on our 6th anniversary, I informed my husband that I have been pregnant HALF of our marriage. That doesn't even include breastfeeding. I am nursing my fourth right now and, though I love it, I am ready for a little me time! .-= Tyne´s latest blog post... T-Shirt Theology =-.

We just weaned ourselves this week….2 weeks shy of my daughter’s first birthday. It was much easier than I had anticipated…being the mom of three kids you surely know how to do – but I’ll tell you what worked for us anyway. Supplementing milk at all of her meals (one at a time, over the course of a couple of weeks) and then only nursing her at bedtime for about a month. Then this week I leave the house at bedtime, so my husband puts her down and I’m not around for her to see/reach for. Three nights so far!

Good luck! My oldest daughter was quite easy to wean, and my youngest weaned herself, but I had to work and had daycare in the mix, so the old supply didn’t keep up…and they got too impatient with me.

I’m pretty sure I haven’t had my body back since Jan 2006..so I feel your pain!
