Toothless

Jayden finally lost his first tooth the other night. The Tooth Fairy was tired that night, though, and didn’t feel like stopping by the ATM, so we didn’t put it under his pillow until the night after. He ran out of his room that morning, exclaiming, “I got $5!”. A tooth’s rate has gone up since I was a kid, that’s for sure.

$5! Don’t tell my kid that or she’ll be expecting a raise from the Tooth Fairy….

@Karen, I told my husband if he gives him 5 this time, he’ll have to give him 5 all the next time’s, too. That’s a lot of money for teeth.

First of all, that hair!!! Love it. I remember getting a quarter – $5 is definitely higher than the old days! My hubby is a dentist so I am guessing our payout will be big when that starts to happen in our house. We love teeth here…:)

@Natalie at Mommy on Fire, I think I got a dollar as a kid, sometimes all in quarters. I remember feeling like I was rich.

As for the hair, I’m afraid he gets the natural curls from me. He’s in desperate need of a haircut.

@Tina, If it was up to me, he only would have gotten 2.
