If you’re already thinking about what to get for those closest to you for the holiday season, I have a new game for you to consider. It’s called Tapple, which stands for Touch Activated Press & Play Letter Eliminator.
The object of the game is pretty simple. There are included cards, each with categories. One side has easier categories for younger players, the other side a bit harder. The first player announces the category then taps the timer button in the center of the Tapple wheel. You have 10 seconds to name an answer and press the corresponding beginning letter, then pass your turn until all letters are used or all players are eliminated. Letters can only be used once, hence the pressure as the round goes on!
TAPPLE™ is a fast-paced category word game perfect for family fun this holiday season! To get started, players choose a category card such as TV Shows or Fast Food and start the timer on the Tapple Wheel. Players have 10 seconds to name a word matching the category, press the first letter of that word on the wheel, tap the button to reset the timer, and pass along to the next player. Letters already pressed may not be used again, so the pressure mounts! With a short play time and a portable Tapple Wheel, Tapple is fun for parties and family holiday gatherings of any kind! Tapple is for ages 8 and over and is ideal for 2-8 players.
Tapple is available in July at specialty retailers nationwide and amazon.com for $19.99. In addition, the game will be at Toys R Us and Barnes & Noble stores in the fall.
This would be a great game for family game night, with all members of the family taking turns yelling out their answers. I could also see it as a fun way for those around 10 years of age to spend with friends. My son and I had a good time playing together, though it will be really fun the more players you have involved. I also really appreciated that they included a way to store the cards, so you always have them with the game when you’re ready to play. Genius!
I received the product free to review from the PR firm or company who is also supplying the prize for my readers. All opinions are mine.
