With this being Teacher Appreciation Week, I began to think of everything that my kids’ teachers have done for us. They’ve gone above and beyond, and they definitely deserve a resounding round of thanks. That’s when I came up with A Step Above Thank You Cards.
A Step Above Thank You Cards in the shape of shoes. Because you step in shoes. Clever, huh?
For this, I have a shoe and thank you card printable to make it super easy. Cut it out, then punch holes to guide strings through. Tie the included thank you card in the bow, and you have a sweet, creative way of expressing your gratitude!
These A Step Above Thank You Cards are fun on their own, or glue onto a folded sheet of cardstock or envelope if you’d like to send along a gift card, too. While we made these thank you cards for Teacher Appreciation Week, they would be great for anyone who deserves appreciation.
- A Step Above shoe and thank you card printable
- white cardstock
- small hole punch
- your choice of thick string
After printing your sheet of shoes and thank you cards, cut all out outside of the black line. Punch holes where the circles are.
Guide your string through the hole so you have both ends that can tie in a bow at the top. Attach your thank you card before tying your “shoe”.
I’ve also made With Extra Thanks cards in the past, which are another great way to show your appreciation to those amazing teachers!
