I’m a 30-something freelance writer, web designer, and stay-home mom to my 3 children: Jedi (born 11/10/03), Buzz (born 04/26/06), and Abby (born 07/24/08). Jedi was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in August 2010 and Buzz is autistic. While these diagnosis are now a piece of their puzzle, they are not the whole picture. When not chasing my kids, I can be found watching “reality” television or the Food Network or trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to rest for a minute.

I’ve been maintaining a personal website in one form or another since 1999. This latest version is a mommyblog, though I hope it’s not just another mommyblog. I try to make the stories I contain herein like brief snapshots from our day. Sometimes sweet, sometimes funny. Because when all day every day is spent chasing 3 children, the words are bound to center around them.

Especially when they’re just that crazy.
