Easter will be here before we know it and with it, spring and bunnies and the best kinds of Easter treats. Mostly, though, the bunnies. To prepare for those Easter Bunnies, we’re getting a crafty start with these Cupcake Liner & Craft Stick Bunny Puppets.
These Cupcake Liner & Craft Stick Bunny Puppets are made from, what else, cupcake liners and craft sticks, otherwise known as popsicle sticks. They’re also made from pipe cleaners for the ears and pink, white, and black paper.
Some have black noses and others pink, because no-bunny is like every-bunny else.
- white cupcake liners
- craft sticks
- white and pink pipe cleaners
- white, pink, and black paper
- 1” circle paper punch
- small paper punch
- fine-tipped black sharpie
First, take a white pipe cleaner and bend it down so the ends touch. Twist it together about halfway up. Take a pink pipe cleaner and cut it in half. Wrap the ends around the white pipe cleaner so it looks like a bunny ear. Make another ear the same way, then wrap the bottoms of the pipe cleaners around a craft stick.
Apply glue along the craft stick to adhere a cupcake liner. Turn it over and adhere another cupcake liner to the other side, making sure it’s all glued together well.
Punch 2 white circles with your 1” paper punch, as well as either a circle of pink or black. Glue the white in place for the eyes. Glue the thin white rectangles in place for whiskers then glue the nose on top of them. Punch 2 smaller circles of black and glue those in the center of the white circles.
A happy bunny mouth with a black sharpie is the finishing touch for an Easter craft that every-bunny is going to love!
