Who here has already started to countdown to Christmas? I know my kids are more excited the closer we get. But there are other members of the family that we can’t forget this year. The furry, four-legged variety need gifts, too. I’m talking about our pets.
Snoopy and Bobby Chance, or as I call her BC, are our dog and cat. They’re best buddies and will spend hours happily chasing each other around, jumping over furniture and darting all throughout the house. They each bring an abundance of happiness to the house and definitely deserve their own treats at Christmas.
But first, I have to get some treats. While at Walmart, I picked up a bag of PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® for Snoopy. The PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® are clinically proven to remove tartar buildup for good oral health.
I also grabbed a pack of Cesar® Treats, which are good for training. For BC, I picked up a container of TEMPTATIONS® Treats.
Since my sweet BC is a girl cat and Snoopy is a boy dog, I thought His and Hers pet treat stocking ornaments to hang on the tree would be super cute!
Now, if I can just keep them out of their stockings until it’s Christmas time.
- miniature stockings
- paper gift tags
- letter stickers
- paw print stickers
- hole punch
- red yarn
- pet treats
First, I found some miniature stockings in the Christmas aisle at Walmart. Because of course there’s already a Christmas aisle. Then, I picked up some tags along with letter stickers and paw print stickers.
I filled each with the appropriate treats. Snoopy’s was filled with Cesar® Treats along with a couple PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX®. BC’s stocking has TEMPTATIONS® Treats and a cat toy. I then formed His and Hers with the letters, added a few cat paw prints for Hers, dog paw prints for His, and punched a hole on top, simply tying it in place around the loop with a bit of red yarn.
