The colors of fall are definitely something to smile about. I love fall. I think I’ve said that before. And I love exploring all the wonderful sights of the changing seasons with my kids. It’s a new way to take in the wonder of the rainbow. Where orange during spring usually means flowers and butterflies, orange during autumn is about pumpkins and bonfires.

And where we’re going is on a fall adventure!
You can fill in the Over the Rainbow printable in many different ways, and however you see fit. For the rainbow, you can either color it or fill in with colorful objects found around. Some options are small cotton puffs, colored rice, glitter, and even a bag of Goldfish Colors.
The same can be done for the What Else Is… section. It’s a great way to really smile and wonder over the amazing colors of the current season. I will admit, we had a hard time differentiating a lot between indigo and violet, but it doesn’t have to be exact and your choice can be something silly. I happened to notice that my daughter had a shade of purple in the fall leggings she was wearing, so that’s what she wrote down.
Above all else, though, the best thing you can do is get out there and enjoy the day with your kids! Really take in what catches their eye, because it’s just a fact that kids can see what adults sometimes miss. That fact alone is inspiring. It’s a beautiful time out there, for so many reasons. And have fun!
