Independence is a beautiful thing. Both the act of gaining the responsibility of freedom and Independence Day itself. With Walmart Family Mobile, you can enjoy both for less!
My oldest son is going to be 12 years old in just a few months. That is officially in preteen territory. I’m a little scared, to be honest. But he’s always been my most responsible kid. As such, he’s earned the rewards of a bit of freedom.
While at Walmart the other day, I stopped in to their electronics department. Looking through the cell phones available on the WFM plan, I picked up the LG Leon for him. It has a 5mp camera, is Android-based, but most importantly it’s his very first smart phone!
We’ve been fans of WFM for awhile now. I love that you get everything needed in a cell phone plan at a great price and great speeds. In fact, the Walmart Family Mobile Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan is only $29.88/month, for the first line, which includes up to 1G of 4G LTE data. Now that’s independence!
Then, with all that savings and a greater sense of freedom, we can really enjoy our July 4th holiday.
There will be plenty of picture taking. For now, we’re testing the camera out with selfies, but Jedi is already excited for the firework shots he’ll be able to capture.
I also made sure to add my number into his contacts first thing. That way, if we happen to get separated or he runs into a few friends and wants to sit with them to watch the fireworks for awhile, he can always text me to let me know he’s alright. Or, he can text me from the couch just because it’s fun.
I just love that I can now get ahold of him any time I need. But more importantly, he can get a hold of me. Independence is a beautiful, if sometimes scary, thing.
